Rocky Mountains Shadows

Here is a new series of rock watercolors I am currently working on using three colors, Charcoal, Sepia, and Indigo.  These are the same colors I use to render my vintage watercolor maps.  I love the play of warm and cool monotones with the shadows of the rocks.

Each watercolor is original, not a print, on 7×10″ paper.  The image is contained within a 5×7″ size with pencil outlines.
